Boxes drift down with a written note and fingering. Hold that note for about a quarter second: the turret aims, fires, and the box bursts.
Touch mode: hold a note button or use Q, W, E, R, T. Microphone mode: choose your instrument, enable the microphone, and stay quiet for the room check. Wrong notes do not fire. Release or breathe briefly between shots.
Trumpet circles show valves 1–3. Sax circles show left hand 1–3 and right hand 4–6; O is the octave key. Filled means pressed.
Pause, switching tabs, or changing instrument stops microphone capture. Re-enable it to continue with your instrument. Real trumpet/saxophone and iPad microphone performance still needs hands-on testing.
